Eco Packaging Options

Here at Mono we only use eco-friendly packaging that is recyclable and often reusable. We want our products to not only be skin friendly and animal friendly, but also as earth friendly as possible.

Our skin loving potions are housed in violet glass bottles and jars made using biophotonic technology which completely blocks all harmful rays from the light spectrum to prolong the shelf-life and effectiveness of the product. Our ingredient tags are printed on recycled, uncoated paper, using vegetable ink, and our reuseable pouches are made from 100% linen, a completely natural, sustainable and biodegradable fabric.

We believe it’s time for the beauty industry to start rethinking packaging; to start becoming more environmentally aware and REDUCING the use of packaging. There is a HUGE amount of excessive and unnecessary packaging being used. Shelf appeal is of course vital for beauty products, however, is all the excess packaging that comes with beauty products really necessary? Creating natural beauty products, and working with natural ingredients doesn't automatically make you environmentally friendly and sustainable; we need to do more, for this beautiful planet we all live on.

We're constantly looking at ways to further reduce our packaging for the eco-conscious, and so, when you purchase a product directly from our website, you have the options below:

If you are re-purchasing, you can choose to have the product sent with an aluminium cap instead of a pipette, and then re-use the pipette from your previous bottle - please state at checkout (in the 'special instructions for seller' box) that you would like an aluminium cap rather than a pipette.

Each of our creations is automatically sent in one of our beautiful linen pouches which is re-useable (we love filling with lavender and popping in wardrobes and drawers) and biodegradeable (when they're no longer useable, simply cut into little pieces and pop onto the compost bin/pile). If you'd rather not have a pouch (or have enough!) pop a note at checkout stating 'no pouch'.

And you can also choose a 'no tag' option - if you've previously purchased a product and don't need the tag sent again, simply state you'd prefer no tag at checkout. You can also choose to download the tag (see below) and save paper.
